Strömbergshyttan is a glassworks in Hovmantorp in Lessebo municipality , Kronoberg county in Småland in Sweden.

Strömbergshyttan, founded in 1876 , is located in the area of Småland called Glasriget . The glassworks switched off the stove in 2008, and production was transferred to Bergdala glassworks in Hästebäck in Lessebo municipality , but the sales premises in Strömbergshyttan have been retained. The new brand is „Bergdala Studioglas”, which is a combination of „Bergdala Design” and „Studioglas Strömbergshyttan”.

In 2017, a Danish couple took over Strömbergshyttan and decorated the workshop premises for the flea market „60s” with emphasis on furniture from the 1960s. Near Strömbergshyttan is Hyllsjö.

Asta Stromberg has become a classic, like Gerda Strombergs from the 1930s. Both in the same clean and timeless design. Gerda Stromberg designed not much new glass after her husband’s death in 1946. She moved from Strombergsyttan to Vaxjo and became a mentor for her daughter in law, Asta. A catalog from 1954 contains information about designers, defined by foreman Sven-Erik „Putte” Bergqvist, and on basis on these you can see that Asta Stromberg began designing glass perhaps as early as in the late 1940s for Strombergshyttan. Before Gunnar Nylund was hired as a designer about 1952. Astas glass was largely inspired by Gerda Stromberg and some of Gerda’s models got renewed forms by her.

Asta Stromberg designed glass for Strombergshyttan from late 1940s to the mid 1970s. She was also the leader of the Company from 1960, when her husband Erik Stromberg died. Erik was leader for Strombergshyttan 1946-1960.

The factory in Strombergshyttan burned down summer 1973. But through a heroic effort by the workers at the mill, they managed to quickly rebuild and restart the production officially from the beginning of November the same year.  Asta Stromberg and her employees felt pride in having successfully started production so quickly.
